Class Dojo Behavior Management
Class Dojo is what we use in 2nd grade as an incentive for positive behavior. It also allows you, as a parent to receive daily updates both positive and negative. We have multiple behaviors that can be selected for your child to gain or lose a point. For example, students can earn points by turning in homework, being on task, following directions, participation, and working hard. Students can lose points for distracting others, disrespect, not turning in homework, not following directions, and talking out of turn. When your child reaches 20 points they can pick a reward from the list. I have included this for you to see as well.
This app is also a great tool for communication. I can send whole class messages as reminders or to update on what is happening in the classroom, share pictures of our learning, and videos. I am also able to send individual messages instead of sending an email. You are also able to send me a message if you have a question. These pop up as a notification on my cell phone and I am able to respond at most times.
